Sunset at the downtown Fairhope AL pierFairhope is a small water front community in Southern Alabama on Mobile Bay. Fairhope is one of just two places in the entire world where "Jubilees" occur. This phenomenon is the rare occassion when oxygen levels drop below that needed to sustain life. Shrimp, crabs, flounder and other seafood and marine life literally swim to the shore and offer themselves to those lucky enough to be fishing or passing by at the right time. These jubilees are very rare and only happen once every year or so. This is only one of the many things adding to the appeal of Baldwin County's favorite small town.

Fairhope, AL is directly in between the area's two largest metropolitan cities in Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. Both of the aforementioned cities have regional airports and thriving business markets. Pensacola and Mobile both offer minor league baseball clubs in the Mobile Bay Bears and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos whose stadium sits directly on Pensacola Bay. Fairhope is near the interstate making the drive to these areas quick at approximately 30 and 45 minutes respectively. Fairhope is home to great restaurants, art galleries and a variety of chic downtown boutiques. The school systems in Fairhope are first-rate and coupled with Spanish Fort and Daphne comprising the "Eastern Shore"; both also boast great school systems. Fairhope is the epitomy of a true diamond in the ruff. This website features all properties for sale in Fairhope, as well as, real estate for sale in the neighboring towns of Daphne & Spanish Fort. While all of the homes for sale in Fairhope are listed, this site also makes browsing home listings easy in parts of Fairhope, like Montrose, Point Clear, Bon Secour, Marlow, Silverhill, Stockton and other smaller towns that are contiguous with Fairhope, Alabama.

Another great amenity of Fairhope is its proximity to Gulf of Mexico and the beaches that run along Alabama's coast. The AL coast is approximately 22 miles spanning from Mississippi to Perdido Key, FL. Fairhope is around 23 miles (40 -45 minutes due to traffic) to Gulf Shores, AL making for a quick trip to the Gulf of Mexico and the variety of things to do, such as: fishing, swimming, surfing, sight-seeing and so much more. Fairhope is also home to numerous first-class golf courses and a short drive away from many others. This website is thorough and a great tool to search for Fairhope real estate, but also has detailed information on Fairhope attractions and reasons to visit.
